19 years agoUSB Guard and Nios2 licensing issues in v6.1
I've been having some trouble in the SOPC builder in v6.1 of Quartus2/EDS in regards to the Nios2 license. I have one of those usb guard dongles that's suppose to take care of the licensing, but when it comes time for the SOPC builder to create a system, it tells me it can't find a valid license. I've looked at the errata on v5.0.1 where it tells me to replace the eperl.exe file. I tried it and it doesn't work for v6.1. Help! Please!

Are you running something other than Windows? I don't believe the USB dongle is supported on any other platforms.

--- Quote End --- I'm running on Windows. It's apparently a new type of dongle as I'm told that they're replacing the parallel port types. Thanks, Loi
