USB connection to PC MicrotronixStratixBoard

the other post doesnot work, so here is my question again:

Hello everybody,

I got a problem with the USB connection from the Microtronix-Stratix Board to the PC.

The PC recognizes the board (USBChip: Cypress SL811HST configured as HOST) only under weird circumstances.

I have to plugin my private USB-Stick (so there must be an existing USB Connection to the PC, i only got an USB Stick), have to pull out the Supply of the Micro.Board. (....and close one eye).

When I connect now the Board to the PC, it works, ("unknow Device"). Now I can connct

When I configure the SL811 as an Slave it doesnot work. when I supply the Board with power before I connect the USB-cable, it doesnot work.

Has anyone an idea what the problem is?

I don't have a windowsdriver for the USBChip right now, maybe thats a point.

Another Question:

I am trying to make a driver for the SL811HST with WinDriverUSB. For that I need to know the Vendor and Product ID. Can I choose them or are they fixed from device to device?

Has anyone experiences with this Board and an USB-Interface to the Computer?
