Uploading/Downloading from Nios Board

Hey all,

I've been uploading elf and bin files to my Stratix 1s40 board and the transfer rates are terribly slow (up to 10 mins for a single .elf file). It is also very slow when attempting to launch the Nios II Linux Kernel Builder. I'm using a USB Blaster cable too. Any ideas as to what is causing all the delays?
