uC/OSII licence

i'm starting now with NIOS II developmente board , stratix II edition

In this case altera allow me to use uC/OSII

Also i'm studying uC/OSII .In the kit ther is a Labrosse' book about it .

i like this RTOS but as i can read it's too expensive

I want to make my compliments to Mr. Labrosse , because he's very cleever

and performant man .I read his story in the book

But if i will finish to study this book , after what can i do?

My job is programmer plc and pc , and if i want to start to try something different , like embedded applications i will have too much problem , the first one is the price

Mr. Labrosse , i know the job it's hard and expensive , but one question :

Why UC/OS II it's so expensive?

It's a pity , because if it was less expensive , may be many project programmer

wil buy it and use on own projects .

At the end , if you reduce the price you can sell more , and gain the same
