uC/OSII licence

Hello, Can you say me what are licence condition tu use uc/OSII with NIOS ? is there some royalties ? Thanks Etienne

Based on Altera's request, we used to license µC/OS-II on a per-seat basis but that complicated things especially when customers purchased some of our other components. Because of that and other reasons, we decided to change the licensing policy to match what we do with other CPUs.

Specifically, µC/OS-II is licensed on a per-end-product basis. Each different product that embeds µC/OS-II requires a different license. If a product contains multiple CPUs then each CPU that runs a different binary executable requires a different license. The cost of a license is $2750 USD. We also offer a product line (i.e. family) license, a per-CPU license, a per-Site license and others.

You are allowed to manufacture ANY number of units of the product that embeds µC/OS-II for the life of the product. In other words, there are no royalties.
