uClinux with uClibc

Hippo, Can you tell me the reason for building the kernel without using uClibc ? It seems that to compile gdb, i have to build the kernel with uClibc ... Please explain ... Thanks.

I saw the "debug" in Microtronix 1.4, but just do not know how to use it ...

Are there documentations around ?
