uCLinux with NIOS II - will it work on Window7 PC

Hi

I need to work on a CYCLONE Based system. NIOS II is used in this system with uCLinux.

Can I use this operating system on my Windows7 PC ?

I am sorry if it is a foolish question but I am new with embedded operating system.

I need to work on some modifications in existing product.

Please suggest.

    To build an embedded Linux application (and this includes building the embedded Linux OS for this target itself) for NIOS, you need to use a Linux PC. The appropriate tools are not available for Windows.
