uclinux running one 1 de2 doesnt run on another...

i have 2 DE2 boards. 1 with 1MB flash and another with 4MB flash. i previously compile and run uclinux on the one with 1MB flash. i then download the same image onto the other DE2 with 4MB flash. everything seems to b running fine without any error but i cant ping the ethernet interface.

there isnt any error msg when i boot linux or when i do ifconfig.

is it i must resize the flash in sopc builder to 4mb, regenerate the ptf n sof? or is there any other steps i shud do?
