hi scott:

i have already solved the problem. it is startupping the kernel.

in the past :

-- I configured u-boot to use the serial UART, and

-- I configured the kernel to use the JTAG UART.

now :

-- I configur u-boot to use the serial UART, and

-- I configur the kernel to use the UART.
