The problem of nios-debug

i have a problem when i use nios-debug to dubug,there is a error that is "nios-elf-gdb could not connect to target!" so i cann't debug the programm. i use the byteblaster2,jtag .but debug the tutorial_sw programm can successful. why,please help me! thanks!

    Are you working with NIOS I or II?

    If you use the NIOS II, you can try the following:

    Open a shell (e.g. NIOS II SDK Shell) and type "nios2-download --reset-target --tcpport=2342". This should give you a status message, if a connection can be created or why not.
