Sound Card for uClinux

I see the uClinux 2.6 has support for a sound driver. Apparently you can just use "cat" to send the raw audio to the sound card at /dev/dsp.

Can you tell me what sound daughter card I can use, that will work with this driver.

Also, how about interfacing, do you just define the I/O pins in the Quartus design?

Thanks, the Jester board on fpga.nl (http://www.fpga.nl) is just about what I'm looking for, except I would like to play PCM audio.

Does uClinux 2.6 has a c code file to drive it??[/b]

It would seem so. uClinux has a driver for ALSA (Advanced Linux Sound Architecture) but I have no idea if it would work with an audio expansion card
