SOPC Builder hangs when making custom instruction

Hi Folks-

I just installed Quartus II 10.0 and have been having problems with SOPC Builder hanging up. When I click on the Import button of the Custom Instructions tab of the NIOS-II CPU configuration page, SOPC Builder freezes indefinitlely.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

What did you do to work around the problem?

    It was not immediately resolved. I submitted a service request to ask for a workaround. Altera responded that they could replicate the problem but didn't offer a workaround. I reverted to Q9.1SP2. I remember they closed the service request with a statement to me that a working version will be ready in a few months in a new version.
