Has anybody tried applying RT PREEMPT patches (http://rt.wiki.kernel.org/) to Nios II Linux?

Will the standard (MMU-based) include selecting the PREEMPT patches out of the box some day ? I feel that is highly appropriate (if it does work). -Michael
