results from Nios2linux kernel available in the terminal but hidden in the romfs

Hye there..!

I had configured and download my zImage using nios2linux kernel. now that I has cross compile my cpp file in the terminal, I want to get the result which i printed in text file. in the terminal, i typed ls and the file name appeared. but none in the romfs folder. I want to get the file an copy it to my pendrive. How can I trace it and copy it?
