Not yet...think there are some issues in building the eCos library to be solved...

There is a release candidate available as we speak. The eCos port relies upon some updates in the Nios II 1.01 release. We're waiting for the Nios II 1.01 release to be available for download and then we'll post the port. This should be very soon.

That sounds good. I will be away for a week. After coming back perhaps their will be something new to download and to play with it.

Just tried installing this: My Nios IDE now refuses to start... message "check .log file in workspace .metadata directory."

Hmm. Reinstalled NIOS SDK, reapplied updates, and the problem seems to have gone away...
