Question about Flash

Hi,

I made the standard.flash from the standard.sof with the sof2flash utility to be programmed in the user zone (--location=0x400000). All things go right and that reference design works good (the green led of User is lightened).

But I noticed that the standard.sof is over 3 MB, that's surprised me cause I have 8 MB of flash, so the user zone is only 2MB, then normally I expected the safe config to be overwritten, but that's not the case since the orange led of the safe config lightened when I press the Safe Config button indicating a good reference design in that zone.

Could anybody explain that ?
