question about custom peripherial

recently I download a vga controller IP with avalon bus interface.

it has three Avalon bus interface

one is Register configuration Slave interface

the second is DMA master interface

the third is palette Ram slave interface

I use the New Component Wizard to add the IP

then question comes out:

how shoud I manage the "signals" and "interfaces" Tab ,and makes the three interfaces work fine . (some signal are used by two or three interface)

anybody hava any solutions about such problem above?

send me a handbook about custom peripherials is also welcomed.
