It's maybe a bit off topic, but do you know where I can find Quartus&NIOS IDE 5.0 (for Linux would be the best)? Or maybe version 6.0 for Linux? It was written on Altera site that I have to pay for Linux versions, but maybe this 5.0 is for free.... Thank you for your response in advance! With best regards, Koza

All Linux versions are not free. You need to buy the licenses. For Nios II, you need a license to product non-time-limited core. You may download these files from ftp://ftp.altera.com/outgoing/release/ (ftp://ftp.altera.com/outgoing/release/) You need Redhat RHEL3 or RHEL4 to run the Linux version.
