Quartus II

hello to everybody

I'm trying with my dev kit startix II edition

I want to create a simple hw , for example 4 push button that turn on 4 led

(all including in the board) without processor and without using NIOS II IDE.

I open the quartus II and i add new vhdl o schematic file

Set this one as top level , disegn and start compilation .

At the end successfull compilation .then i open Programamer and add

my .sof file , i don't find this file in my project folder .

The cable is correct setting up , because a download an example project

What i must to do ?

The device , pin and tool are setting correctly , like the example project .

Somebody can tell me what to do ?
