Proper method pulling header files into the Software Build Tools *_sw.tcl

With the legacy tools, header files seemed to get pulled over correctly as long as the directories were properly specified in the SOPC builder.

I'm running into some difficulties getting header files in a custom IP folder included into the NIOS II software build tools BSP folder. I've created a component _sw.tcl with commands I thought would pull in the headers and made sure the version number in the component_hw.tcl matched the component_sw.tcl.

Is there a documented set of steps or example from Altera on how to pull in custom IP header files? Or can someone here please provide me with an example? Thanks.
