Problems Starting IDE

I'm starting a new NIOS II software project use the NIOS II IDE. It's a blank project using the wizard. For my target hardware I select the ptf file created by the Quartus tools. ...

Well I've solved this one.

tns1 was correct it's all a mystery on projects and applications with no good explaination.

The Navigator Pane has Navigator and Projects Tabs.

Selecting the projects tab let me see the projects I had created as I was experimenting with the IDE.

Deleting those projects and starting freas solved my error messages.

MORE DOCUMENTATION IS NEEDED.
