Problem with the cygwin1.dll

Hello,

I came across the following problem.

The error message is:

nios2-elf-gcc.exe cannot find the entrance, and cannot locate the entrance of the program ( putc_unlocked ) on the "cygwin1.dll".

The error can be reproduced under either of the two circumstances:

1) in the process of the nios generating. Maybe when compile the alt_main in the process of generating;

or 2) when compile ( use "nios-build" instruction) a C source file in the Nios SDK Shell.

I use Quartus II 5.0 and Nios II 5.0.

OS: windows XP with sp1

Device Family: CYCLONE II

Device: EP2C35F672C6

Why does the error occur and how to resolve it.
