problem with eclipse speed

I use Nios II IDE 5.0, PC speed is 2.533 Ghz but speed of editor is more like 0.5, it's horrible slow, the editor always hangs when I type characters (I only use 2 finger system) e.g....

i tried reboot, no changes, virus scan deactivated etc.

same behavior is at a second PC,

there is some automatic in the background that disturbes typing

characters,scrolling etc.

it's really irritating
