problem to download ELF file to DE-1 board

I'm trying to download an elf file to the DE-1 board as described in the book:

"EMBEDDED SOPC DESIGN WITH NIOS II PROCESSOR AND VHDL EXAMPLES" from Pong P. Chu,

page 203:

"Load the .elf file to the designated memory modules,

Select the application directory, ledl.test, in the Navigator subwindow. Right-click the mouse and select Run As >- Nios II Hardware"

I have build that example project, but at right clicking on the project I get only the choice: Run-As -> Local C/C++ Application,

the sof file I already downloaded before

I'm using the Eclipse EDS version:

91sp2_nios2eds_windows

    Hi

    I'm using Quartus 12.1 and sometimes i get this message too

    when i face this proglem, i close the eclipse and program the SOF file using Quartus software and then reopen the eclipse and then nios ii show up in the run as option

    Also try to run the eclipse as an administrator
