Problem of running as Hardware in NiosII-IDE

Question

i have downloaded the .pof on the DE2-board and build the software in the NiosII-IDE, when i click "Run As->NiosII Hardware", it always shows error:

Using cable "USB-Blaster [USB-0]", device 1, instance 0x00

Pausing target processor: not responding.

Resetting and trying again: FAILED

Leaving target processor paused

please help me! thanks

Search the forum for the text "FAILED".  Half of those posts describe what you may be running into.
