pppd under uCLinux

Hello,

I need to use ppp to connect my Nios2 (under uCLinux) to a GPRS module. Does somebody have information about that ? I suppose I have to enable the ppp option in the kernel config, and I think I also have to get pppd running. For this I have downloaded pppd from uCLinux sources (from www.uclinux.org). To compile pppd, can I use the nios2 IDE, or is it easier to compile it directly from a command line ? If so, what are the specific option for compiling for the Nios 2 ?
