You don't need to port uClinux ontop the NIOS processor, you can just use it. see http://www.nioswiki.com/operatingsystems/uclinux (http://www.nioswiki.com/operatingsystems/uclinux) . This page also suggests, that the upcoming version of uClinux for NIOS2 will support the MMU and thus "full" Linux,. -Michael
