perl

Hi, I am a total noob to embedded development and have found the uKit to be a very good learning platform. Anyone know if a perl port to niosII exists? I doubt it, as it would probably be...

I remember trying to port Perl to the Nios and I had massive problems trying to get the configure script to run to completion.

I agree with tlaskowski... unless there's a truly compelling reason to run Perl (which I'm guessing would run fairly slowly), I would search for a 'C' solution to the problem.
