pci driver example in .c?

Hi, Just wondered if anyone's got a simple example design of a pci device driver in .c? I am after one for the conventional pci, but I wouldn't mind one written for pci express. Thanks...

Sorry, i wasn't clear on what i have been trying to do. I would like to do a PCI master operation (rd wr read status, config,etc) describerd in page 2-27 of altera pci compiler user guide.
