PCI Compiler and eCos

I am trying to work with a Nios2 implementation which includes an Altera PCI Host Bridge Compiler Megacore function. Has anyone else used this configuration? Does the PCI support in eCos work with the PCI Megacore? Is there a port/driver somewhere that I need to get/write?

I am fairly new to PCI.
