Option to skip elf2hex?

I don&#39;t know the answer but how about setting the hex file to read only? I&#39;ve run into this problem in the past when I had a pre-initialized lookup table that Nios could access but I didn&#39;t have the compiler pre-populate. I&#39;d tell you what I did (since you have a very similar case) but I can seem to remember (I must be getting old and the brain isn&#39;t what it used to be http://forum.niosforum.com/work2/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif )
