i'm an ecos/nios newbe. with so much new technology to learn, i'm very nervous spec'ing in an ecos based nios solution as it is, let along deal with writing ecos ethernet mac drivers.
unfortunately, my target build cost is too low to allow me to use and external mac/phy asic.
