Hi,
I have downloaded the NiosII linux port for the altera dev boards, Im wondering where you get the actuall hardware project that this SW runs on..! Cheers ArmlessForum Discussion

Altera_ForumMicrotronix has ported the uClinux for three kinds of boards. The ciclone and stratix Altera´s develop. kit and it´s own dk. But remember that you have to recompile the kernel for the particular board you are using.

Be on the safe side and use a hardware design that uses the "f" core and the biggest surround hardware logic (would have everything, but might be overkill).
That's the best answer I can give since I've never seen one of these kits before. - Altera_Forum
It could be the same of the ones that came with the development kit, standart ou full version, VHDL or Verilog, whatever.
