Dear everyone,
I'm not familiar with the router, but I want ro do a 3 port router based on nios2! I want to do a 3 port router by using 3 DMA9000AE on my bord, and I use the uClinux! I have no idea about it , who can tell me what shall I do for the software step by step or recomended me a good schematic? Thank you very much! Best Regards! Fei WU3 Replies

Hi,
this is what Linux can do very well. To play around I recommend to use a desktop Linux machine with some networkcards in it. Then try to setup your router with iptables, route and so on. If you are satisfied try to move to the Nios. - Altera_Forum

You may find some routers based on uClinux. Thought they are not Nios2, you can learn a lot.
