NIOS II VGA Controller and Compact Flash, I'm lost

Hi, I'm completely new to SoPC and NIOS. For my Project I have a Trex C1 board (1C6 cyclone).

I am trying to write an application that runs off the compact flash, executes on the NIOS processor and is outputted to a Monitor screen through VGA. I guess what I'm looking for are some suggestions about the premade components I can use to accomplish this instead of reinventing the wheel.

My board has a VGA output and a CF card reader with true IDE mode.
