NIOS II SDK Shell

I see a lot of posts in which the instructions include "open the NIOS II SDK Shell." I'm pretty green with this stuff, and I can't find out how to OPEN the SDK Shell. Hints?

    OK, I found it - from the Windows Start button, it&#39;s at

    Start->altera->Nios II Development Kit 5.0->NIOS II SDK Shell
