NIOS II interfacing with oscilloscope

Hello all

My problem is , I have to generate a signal in NIOS II system and have to look its output through I/O interfacing at the oscilloscope.

Can any1 tell me d steps followed to execute this operation.

    Thank you for reply ..

    Any signal ... a sine wave will work ...

    and I am using Altera DE2 board.

    There is a DAC on the board that you can use for this purpose.

    The DE2 Music Synthesizer project (which can be found on Terasic's web site) could be a good start.
