yes, i've seen some of these problems too. it is so effing annoying that i just about lose my mind. i have *sometimes* found that emptying the trashcan and getting rid of temporary internet files and the like helps but not for long. i will try the suggestion bigboss made. i've also noticed that it seems to access the hard disk constantly, anyone else notice this? i am still running 5.1 (scared to upgrade tp 6.0)
lastly, it seems to get worse if i have the ide running for an extended period like two days. i've convinced myself that doing a reboot helps but i'm not sure. i suspect a memory leak.

Hi Mike,
I suggest you to try the latest version of EDS. Eclipse has been updated to 3.2.0 and, in my case, it appears to be more responsive than previous EDS release (was eclipse 3.02 in EDS 6.0).
