Nios II IDE on Vista

Hi, I have just started using the Nios II IDE on a new Vista system and have not been able to make it work reliably. It dies every few minutes with the message: JVM terminated. Exit code...

Assuming I "Run As Administrator", I have not had any issues using SBT in Vista x64.

For Nios II IDE, in addition to "Run As Administrator", I had to install an update for Eclipse for it to run stable. I forget the exact menu option, but I just did the update right from the Eclipse GUI. Without the update, it crashed frequently.
