NIOS II IDE Link question

I have a file text.o that I'd like to link in with my current project. So I right click on the project, select properties -> C/C++ Build. The Linker 'General' area is where I would guess i need to muddle in, however, I dont have a 'Library' and there's no need to specify a Library Path so how could I accomplish my objective.
