On a very related note, I am a college student working with the Nios II Evaluation kit for a design project. I would like to have a RTOS but just a basic IP stack and the ability to access the proto I/O would suffice. Also, I would like to be able to write the application to flash so that it would come up and run without the IDE being connected. Is this possible without buying something else?
