Nios II Evaluation Edition v5.1 Released

The Nios II version 5.1 release is now available for download (https://www.altera.com/support/software/download/nios2/dnl-nios2.jsp?wt.mc_id=ni_pw_ni_xx_tx_1_032).

This release features several enhancements to the profiling tools, a redesigned flash programmer, and several new design examples that feature the new PLL component in SOPC Builder.

The Nios II Full Edition will be shipped to all active subscribing customers throughout the month of November. As a reminder, the Evaluation Edition differs from the Full Edition in that it does not contain the MicroC/OS-II source files. A valid Nios II license file will enable full operation of the Nios II Eval Edition, excluding than the RTOS.
