Nios II EDS v6.0 Released - Download Now

Bundled with this release (but licensed separately) is the nios ii c-to-hardware acceleration (c2h) compiler. The Nios II C2H Compiler is used to boost embedded software performance by accelerating time-critical functions of your ANSI C applications by converting them into hardware accelerators in the FPGA. Also included in the 6.0 release is hardware support for floating point operations, implemented as a library of custom instructions.

The Nios II EDS v6.0 will ship automatically to subscribing customers. As a reminder, the Evaluation Edition differs from the Full Edition in that it does not contain the MicroC/OS-II source files. A valid Nios II license file will enable full operation of the nios ii eds v6.0 eval edition (https://www.altera.com/support/software/download/nios2/dnl-nios2.jsp?wt.mc_id=ni_pw_ni_xx_tx_1_032), excluding the RTOS.
