Nios II Debug Client

Hi, is there a fixed installer for the Nios II Debug Client? Or a workaround for the buggy installer? The installer that came with my "Altera University CD" can't detect Quartus II v6....

What the heck is the "Nios II Debug Client"? I'm not aware of any product by that name.

The Nios II EDS already provides the IDE and necessary toolchain for debugging. Is this supplied by a 3rd. party (company other than Altera)?
