Nios IDE Problem

I have problems debugging my code in the IDE.

The IDE works fine, except it does not link execution with the code lines.

The logfile (\eclipse\workspace\.metadata\.log) show some problems sounding like

"!MESSAGE Problems occurred when invoking code from plug-in: "org.eclipse.ui.workbench".

!STACK 0

java.lang.NullPointerException"

and

"java.io.IOException: No process is on the other end of the pipe."

Does anybody known how to fix this?

    The first thing I would ask is are you starting the IDE from SOPC Builder?

    If so, then we'll have to go from there.

    If not, please try it.

    I started the IDE from the windows start menue all the time.

    The problem now is that I don't have the problem anymore :-)

    I've no guess what went wrong, but it's all ok now!
