Nios example does not fit!

So, I buy a cycloneIII_3c120 development kit and the example for nios does not fit. Altera can't include an example design that works?

    I don't know about on-chip memory resources, but in terms of LEs and registers that chip should only be around 25% full. The same sort of logic is included for the NEEK which has an FPGA that is approximately 4.5 times smaller.
