nios clock

Hi there.... i would like to ask about nios clock..is the base clock of all the nios apex pins are in 33.33 Mhz... is it if i would like to have a nios processor working in 50Mhz i would need to use the available IP core to multiply by 1.5 to obtain 50Mhz ?

    Hi Wayne,

    when you use quartus you can modify you NIOS is SOPC builder... This way you can modify clockspeed... Use your RAM PLL to increase speed to optimize your design...

    if the apex development board works at 70Mhz,will it work normal?

    what is the heighest speed it can achieve? what about straix ?

    I am using the stratix II dev board with engineering sample e2s60...

    we clocked it up to 135 MHz and that&#39;s only because the SDRAM can&#39;t be clocked higher
