Nios build problem

Hi all,

I keep get the following in building my nios program:

Hardware simulation is not enabled for the target SOPC Builder system.Skipping creation of hardware simulation model contents and simulation symbol files.

May I know what this means? I suspect my failure to download my program to DE1 board because of this. please help.
