NIOS 2 EDS Version Check

Hello,

my name is Michael and this is my first post on the forum, so please forgive me if I ask about something that was already discussed.

I've got DE1 board and I've installed Quartus II 9.1sp1 and NIOS II EDS 9.1. The problem is when I start NIOS II I get the message:

the configured quartus ii version 9.1sp1 does not match the current nios ii eds version 9.1. install and launch an instance of quartus ii version 9.1 before continuing.

disable this check by setting the environment variable skip_nios2_version_mismatch_check=1

Could somebody tell me how to configure Quartus II so it would match the NIOS2 version?

And when can I set my environment variable?

Please help me, we all know that first steps are the toughest.

I'm looking forwad to hearing from someone.

    HEY, don't worry about it

    If u cannt get the sp for EDS, just ignore the warning about the version check

    Anyway it said that we'd better make the EDS and Quartus in the same version.

    I've downloaded sp for NIOS and everything seems to be working properly.

    Such a stupid mistake :) ...
