Hi Epis,

the LT3412A ist feeding my ep2c50 with Vcore 1,2V from 3,3V and works perfect.

But you need to take care about the layout or the ltc34xx family will oszilate and won't produce a stabel vcore. we have verified that on 2 different pcb's with different placement and both do not work identical as the placement and layout is different. but it is a good family from linear. the ltc3412a can deliver up to 2,5A and the one you mentioned can deliver up to 4A.

The switching frequency depends on the design. the parts, the input and output voltage and currents. the ltc3412a we use can also switch up to 4 MHz but it runs here at abot 1.5MHz.
